No. Our fertilizer program pricing tend to be competitive with chemical fertilizer competitors. In addition, by slowly releasing nutrients, natural fertilizers are able to help build a strong and deep root system that will help tolerate stresses more and ultimately result in a healthier and greener lawn over time, resulting in a lower cost of ownership.

3. Does the Boost of Nature Lawn Care Program prevent weed growth?
Yes. We apply three (3) synthetic pre-emergent applications during the colder months and spot treat weeds throughout the year as necessary to control stubborn weeds. Five (5) natural fertilizer applications are applied in the Spring and Summer months to help keep your kids, pets, and the environment safer and to build a strong, healthy, lawn that helps choke out weeds from the ground up! Boost of Nature practices a minimalist approach to using synthetic products, resulting in up to 80% fewer chemicals^** than traditional synthetic fertilizer companies. We've found this combination results in the best weed control and soil condition while helping to keep your kids, pets, and the environment safer!

We also offer a 100% natural turf management program that uses corn gluten to help prevent weeds. It is a good alternative for those yards that have not built a dependency on chemical fertilizers in the past or do not have weed control issues.

4. What kind of ingredients are in your natural fertilizers?
Boost of Nature uses high quality natural fertilizers to help build a strong, healthy and nutrient efficient turf. These include combinations of natural occurring fertilizer products that contain natural nitrogen and potassium components required for a health lawn (such as sea kelp, seaweed extract, humic acid, chicken bi-product, corn gluten, iron, and tea compost).

5. Does your natural fertilizer applications smell bad?
Most of our customers would tell you they barely notice a smell after our natural fertilizer applications as the smell quickly dissipates. In fact, compared to some traditional synthetic applications that contain a strong "chemical" smell after application, we often are complimented on the "slightly sweet scent" that our natural fertilizers give off immediately after application.

6. What other services do you perform?
Boost of Nature specializes in an array of services ranging from fertilizer service, core aeration, core aeration/over-seeding for cold season turfs, tree and shrub fertilization, natural pest control, and natural vegetable garden fertilization - a big advantage to those who prefer to grow their own vegetables and know they are treated with natural fertilizer products.
